When it was the guy with the really freaky curly hair and ... a scarf?
A really long one, right? With stripes? I remember a guy in college whose GF knitted him an insanely long striped scarf, and he explained that it was a Dr. Who thing, and I kind of just went, "That's...nice...for you."
I remembered Dr. Who from PBS, I think, when I was growing up. When it was the guy with the really freaky curly hair and ... a scarf? But I had no idea it was still a program until people here mentioned it.

Yesterday's spring thunderstorm has turned into today's snow storm. To the point where all county school kids were sent home at 12:30. CJ at least had a heavy coat, but had to ride/push his bike home. He is now in a hot bath trying to warm up.

I had a Dr Who scarf in college. It was my mom's that she'd knit when she was in college. It was awesome.

Started the weekend after JFK's assasination on BBC, played through 1989, then was brought back in 2005 not as a reboot (like Battlestar Galactica), but as a continuation of the classic series. Oh, and there was a Fox TV-movie in 1996 that has been incorporated into the show's backstory, but it really sucked.
Good god, Suzi. Colorado is crazy! Poor kid.

I didn't watch the show, but caught end bits of it as it came on right before Monty Python. I thought Tom Baker was awfully cute. Something about the combination of the hangdog expression and the curly hair and insane scarf was really charming.
