Two-headed lizard: [link]
A two headed bobtail lizard, a type of skink, at its new reptile park home at Henley Brook in Perth, Australia. The two-headed reptile was rescued by the Park and appears to be doing well, despite a short life expectancy. It eats from both heads but the larger head has also tried to attack the smaller one, and its movement is difficult as both heads control its back legs. It also has a healthy sibling without any mutation. Bobtails give birth to live offspring, rather than laying eggs.
Very grinny girl there, Sparky! Why do I have the feeling she's gonna end up moving faster than the pup??
That image has caused me no end of stress.
I was *just* coming in to post the self-hating lizard link!
so I ordered an $80 screen guard thingy for my computer screen at work, the only one, mind, that shows up in our ordering system. And it is NOT a privacy one. grrr. It does help with the glare from the windows, but dude, I need the privacy one. It seems those are upwards of $100. yikes.
This weekend will be really busy! Dinner and a movie tonight, maybe the grilled cheese festival tomorrow and then introducing my formerly-estranged friend to Bob over Thai, and then dinner with a friend Sunday. Have to fit in four workouts in there somehow too.
A little freaked out that the Bangkok grenade-throwing is right in front of the hotel we stayed at there. I guess a less peaceful culture would have a lot more casualties.
Holy Ghost Hokey Pokey (video)
I couldn't finish it. But it's as bad as the link text implies.
Well, it is April 24 someplaces already: [link] Note that the starfield is clickable.
I never recline the seat, unless to escape from someone in my lap. It causes more neckpain for me to recline.
I am so bereft. We didn't get into the lotto for the Nike Women's Marathon. SO AGGRAVATING. Second year I've tried and not gotten in.
I am wearing my American University Cheerleading sweatshirt today which always good for a laugh.
What's funny about American University cheerleading?
Well, the braniacs decided to have our logo say American University in a circle and then Cheerleading through the middle. So essentially without any knowledge of the school it looks like it says American Cheerleading University (always a thrill).
Plus my students boggle that I was a college level cheerleader.
