You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am totally going to friend her!

Another reason to miss TJ's. Over spring break Kelly brought me some Maple Cookies from TJ's - OMG, NOM!!!

I love those.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I recently found out that the TJ's maple cookies are vegan. Now I really want to try them, but I just started a no-refined-sugar diet and don't want to screw it up. (I know from experience that if I don't have sugar for a while, my blood sugar levels out and I feel good, but if I then have something with a lot of sugar, my blood sugar will spike and then plummet and I'll feel like crap for at least a day or so.)

Someone's car alarm is malfunctioning. It's annoying. And yet...this is the first time I've had that issue in this hood. Used to be all the freaking time in my old one...

Hehehe. It turns out, it kept going off because it was parked too close to...my car. I wouldn't have been able to get out, they'd totally parked me it. I went out to make sure there wasn't actual theft, and the owner came out, looked at the clearance (like, an inch?) and moved the van up.

Someone's car alarm is malfunctioning.

Heee....the thunderstorm kicked off a bunch of car alarms here. That is how we know the lightening is a bit TOO close.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My dad, with his racist tendencies, loved All in the Family. Archie was his favorite character. He totally got the liberal subtext and understood the irony. He also laughed at Archie quite a bit.

I met with a dietician today. My estimated caloric intake for weight loss is around 1,400 calories a day. This is going to suck.

In other news, Owen barfed on me this evening. He's still running a fever and this virus has grown tiresome.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Restore a Man of God. I will cheerfully boycott any endorsers of this effort. Sheesh.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Are they fucking kidding?

No, they are not, which is why it's so completely fucked up. Whoa.

Because books.

ita! Lee! I can barely contain myself! Why isn't it nine there yet?!

That Stephen Baldwin thing *isn't* a joke, really? Ugh.

Also, I just saw your hair in Bitches, brenda. Adorable!
