More on Hulu's $9.95/month charge. They also expect to up the commercials to the same amount as broadcast TV. I would hope they don't mean that for paying customers. I just don't see the attraction.
This may just finally help me to break a hulu habit that has gotten way out of hand.
I'm listening to Terry Gross' interview of Sondheim from yesterday, and they just mentioned that "Epiphany" from Sweeney Todd is being sung in the latest Sondheim review by...
...Tom Wopat.

I need to get brave enough to cook beets.Don't really know why I have haven't, other than an unconscious fear of the mess. Plus, I don't think CJ likes them so cooking for just me feels funky. I should actually ask him. Or even just cook them and see if he eats any.

Ben Grelle made this awesome image of Lightning Cat doing battle with the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano in Iceland.
I didn't know roasting beets was so easy. Awesome!
I saw Wopat in the Annie Get Your Gun revival with the AWESOME Bernadette Peters several years ago. He was good. Not "good for a TV dude" good, but actually good.
Yeah, but I have an easier time envisioning him in Annie Get Your Gun than in Sweeney. Perhaps it's just a failure of my imagination. Or the fact that he's forever going to be one of the Duke boys.
1. Roasting beets is pretty easy.
2. Trader Joe's sells roasted and peeled beets in a vacuum packed thingie.
Mmmm, beets.
They taste like dirt!
You sure know how to sell stuff.
I should do a TJ's run after work today. Maybe, just maybe.
