Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I am leaving an hour early today for an "appointment." Of course, I did not tell my boss that my appointment was for a massage, but there you go.

In this I am Scrappy. 3:15 can not come fast enough.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Jesse, I think the word you're looking for is FAIL.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Later, Roomba. Hello Mint, the robotic mop

The Roomba is a great device, but it has an Achilles heel: it can only really clean carpets. You want to wash your wood or tile floors? You need a mop. Or, in a perfect world, a mop robot.

That's just what Mint is. This Roomba-like bot picks up dust with a dry rag then follows that up with a wet cloth to polish the floor up. It's available now for $250, although it should be noted that it lacks some of the features a Roomba has, such as bringing itself back to charge or moving itself from room to room. But still, if you hate moppin', here you go.

hip deep in pie

Oh man, I hate mopping. I would love one of those.

ETA: But doesn't Roomba have the Scooba?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does Roomba no longer make the Scooba model?

Does the Scooba do an initial wipe-down with a dust cloth before the mop up?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, and:

I just need to go on record as saying Jesse's (and I think meara uses it too) "hrmph" posts always make me giggle they're so charming. I think I am spelling "hrmph" wrong, though.

Aw. I think maybe meara does say "hrmph." I just say "hmph."

Oh, fuck. I just realized I trusted someone else's documents without checking them, and now it's too late, and I'd better not look.
