I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oh ita, so sorry.

I am finding new things to not like about the new office. People are devloping a traffic pattern to the kitchen that goes by my desk. DO NOT WANT! There is an interior hallway that does not go buy people's desk, they nee to use that. Also? we are now on a floor with different departments that we were at the old building. Some guy tried to talk me up while getting coffee this morning. NOT ON, guy. We had a perfectly nice unstated arrangement at the old space, we would talk, we would never exchange names - all good. this guy was all, "I'm so and so by the way" with outstretched hand and all. no no no no no. I don't much like people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, ita -- that just sucks.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, ita, that sucks. ~ma to you.

The travel gods have not been kind today. It took me 1.5 hours to get to school today making me 10 min late for 1st period. It normally takes 55 minutes.

Some of my FB "friends" have posted that Barack Obama thing. They're no longer friends.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I forgot today was "take your sons and daughters to work" day. This should be interesting.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Here in Chicago, some schools are telling parents not to bring their sons and daughters to work today. Because if they do, the kids will be marked absent.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Bring your son or daughter to work day kind of annoys me-- because it seems like it was started so that girls had images of their mothers' working. And now it is a) open to everyone and b) there are all sorts of activities so that no one is really seeing anyone working!

Because books.

I just turned my head too fast and pinched something awful in my neck/shoulder. OW.

It's sort of unfortunate -- taking my kids to work would mean letting them watch me copyedit or write in my jammies. Whoo hoo.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, they've completely lost the point.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Since I have been working from home more often than not, CJ tried to convince me that letting him stay home today would count as "take your kid to work". Ummmm, sorry Charlie.

Plus I did go to the office today. Which I am regretting big time. My headache does not appreciate the florescent lighting nor the big barometric change. Working from home would have eliminated one of those.

Punishingly Intricate

b) there are all sorts of activities so that no one is really seeing anyone working!

I dunno. My boss' kid just watched us have our boring meeting. She was wearing headphones most of the time though. He did introduce me and tried to explain what it is I do.
