And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

meara, I'm up to like 800 or so calories a day now. Today was closer to 1100.... more importantly I'm so excited for you and your house, even if it did suck in terms of getting all the paperwork etc done.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The Criminal Minds rerun tonight is 100. I am already sad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At least it's not North Mammon. 100 hurts our guys worse, but North Mammon icks me the most. That's coming up in reruns soon, and I have to sift through the TiVo schedule and avoid it. The entire premise beats pigs with a shovel.

Okay, early night.

Our wings are not tired.

megan, so glad you're using the Meyer lemons! I had artichokes Tuesday night and they were delicious.

javachick sent me on a trip down memory lane, 14 years ago.

On Facebook, no less! I love reading everyone's souvenir posts.

I just got back from Walnut Creek. Met with someone to look at an antique desk and I HATE it when pictures are so much better than the real thing. AND it was totally overpriced. $150 for something I wouldn't have paid $10 for. What a waste of time.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I have a fat lip. Again. The last one was in December. I must be getting graceful in my middle age.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

North Mammon creeps me out about people more. But 100 makes me sad about *our* people more. And I just realized I need to be recording more Criminal Minds. I'd narrowed to new eps for space reasons at some point.

Yeah, that was a bad one. The worst for me was the pigs and the glee killings though. Cruelest was the "he was alive...yesterday?" but in the good way

Cruelest was

Oh, that really was cruel.

Heh--java, I've been thinking of you and how you told me you got all your awesome furniture off craigslist! I am all "...now I want to buy LOTS OF NEW STUFF!" But need to at least vaguely try to hold a line somewhere. I plan to troll craigslist for a new dining room table at some point in the next few months--my current one is from there, but it's not super nice, and I'd like a nicer one in a different color.

Amusing randomness: Next door neighbor (who shares a wall with me) walked by as the movers were finishing up, and saw my couch, which was one of the last pieces, and was like "Oh! You have red couches TOO!" Hah! Apparently we decorate alike.

Oh yeah, I've scored great on Craigslist, for sure. But nothing will ever beat buying my antique writer's desk from a sidewalk sale in the Castro for $40. It's my favorite piece of furniture. I'm re-doing my office because even though the sleeper chair that megan, you and Suzi have used during your visits is very comfortable, it's too big and ugly to warrant the space in my office. So I am keeping the very comfy mattress to it in the garage and buying a rolling bed cot to keep in my office closet. I'll use both the (new) cot's mattress and the Ikea mattress on it for guests, so it should be very comfy. I'll find out when Flea visits! I already moved the chair, and I got about 8 square feet back and it feels like 20.
