The movie was as bad as expected, bad acting, bad dialogue, just ugh. I did manage to sleep a teeny tiny bit and also just zone with my eyes closed for bits.
One good bit was Chan's character tells one of the kids that he was raised in a group home and that they are all his family. He said family is not just someone who is your blood relative, but the people you love. And mac reached over and grabbed my hand. That was worth the $20.
Oh, msbelle, that is wonderful! So glad he reacted that way!
Oh, yay. What a sweet moment.
He does have his sweet moments and it is really good that he is making that connection to his own life. Now we are doing unprotested homework and I am thinking the new med regime is working for both of us. Better living through chemistry.
Thank goodness you have it!
So, huh. Apparently while I was cursing my vacuum and mopping, someone went out and raked all the leaves from my walk and street. Which I was going to do after I mopped. So I feel a little guilty. And I have no idea who it was; not next door, he's been constructing all weekend and I could hear the power tools. I don't know who to thank. I guess I go move my car and do the stuff I was parked over.
You should make a "Thank you, neighbors" sign to stick in your front yard patch every time they do something nice like that.
I think it'll end up out there permanently!
