There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Suzi, that's creepy. Mega creepy.

We had a Sara and a Sarah Levy in our year at high school in England, but neither of them did anything interesting or dramatic.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is a reenactment of "Willy Wonka" as if it would be portrayed by Christopher Walken and Jack Nicholson.

Cute.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

The company where I used to work employed not one, but two women named Kim Starr. At different times. But, the second Kim had an ex-sister-in-law also named Kim Starr, who was always getting in trouble with the law! With 3 in the same metro area, you can imagine the wacky misunderstandings that occurred!

One would think it unlikely that I'd get into a name confusion but a Tia t mylastname worked at my first company out here. I got a fair bit of her email.

From xkcd: Circuit Diagram

Fun if you've ever looked at a circuit diagram. Or even if not. Now I wanna bring this to a Radio Shack and ask for a Batman for my circuit....

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Tonight's class was fun! We did our group project presentations analyzing a library, and after all three of the groups were done, the prof said that she had been giving out that assingment for years, and in all seriousness said that our three presentations were the best she'd ever had!! So, here's hoping we all get A's on it, because it's worth 25% of the final grade.

I was taken aback by her saying she'd had so many other groups do the same project in the past, because a few weeks ago I mentioned to her that I had done a phone interview with the director of our chosen library to follow up on some questions we had after our tour of the building. After hearing that, she gave me a rather shocked look, which I now think meant that no one out of all the students who had done the project in the past had ever thought to do such an interview. We got tons of info out of it that we scattered throughout our paper and presenation, so it was really beneficial; I can't imagine why no one else would have done likewise.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My (step) sister and I had the same name and were in high school together for two years. Our name would get called to the office a LOT and I'd just shrug it off. I was a Good Girl. Comparatively.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You should have done something bad for the hell of it and let her take the fall.

When I did ditch once in my senior year (so P and I could go two "towns" over for lunch), the asst principal was boggled. "No, I need to see your sister." Like I couldn't have layers??

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I had no idea about any of this. Despite cancer, Maura Tierney tries 'North Atlantic'

I'm having a hard time imagining her in Parenthood. Lauren Graham works in that role so well.
