Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Tommy, do you have a white noise machine or a fan that you can run to drown out the noise?

Tommy, the ceilings/floors in my building are very thin, and ever since the people upstairs moved in (the previous people were fine) about six months ago, I've been driven NUTS. One of the many reasons I'm excited to be moving out. But in my case, while I can sometimes hear them when they're talking loudly (arguing/yelling), it's more the walking, moving closet doors along the track, getting in and out of bed, dropping shoes, rolling chair around, etc etc. ...not a lot to be done, though. Ask for more carpets, perhaps.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Tommy, do you have a white noise machine or a fan that you can run to drown out the noise?

Or an air purifier.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It may be worth it to mention to the upstairs talker that you can hear him -- he may be quieter (or move to another room) if he knows that someone is overhearing him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, the last time I was at the dentist, I said I didn't think I needed a mouthguard for tooth-grinding issues. This morning, I think maybe that was a mistake. Although, I still wouldn't say my jaw "hurts," but I can definitely feel it. Stupid human body.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

There are also free white noise mp3s that you can download off the internet if you have an iPod dock or speakers in your room.

Oh, and regarding my cake issue from last night, I found the EatingWell site, which seems to have a lot of good-looking stuff. And I DO have a springform pan, so may make this or similar: [link] Too bad last night's dessert was pears and ginger, but at least that means we all like it, right?

Today is Patriot's Day in the great Commonwealth of Massachusetts, but what is the excuse for the rest of you Natter slackers?

ION, I got a call last night from the Census, and I'm being reactivated for the door-to-door enumeration, so yay! Also yay in that we've got some good weather scheduled to do it in....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Theodosia.

Hey, if I am in Maine for the 4th of July, any chance you would want to come up?
