The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, did you all know that the Iceland volcano was caused by Obama's health care reform? [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

msbelle, I've got one of those jars in my cupboard. The label's been crossed off and written on. I'm fairly sure my mother has more, possibly some that are empty, I'll check next time I'm over there.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Of course, it makes sense God would punish Europe for what we did here - He's wacky that way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Burrell ass-called me twice today. I feel...high in the alphabet. I used to always be at the top, when friends didn't filed me lowercase without a last name, but I think people are more proper now.

I dunno. Jilli's purse called me the other day, and I'm near the middle, not matter what name you use.

The status is NOT quo.

The Doctor is back! David Tennant will always be my doctor, but I quite liked Matt Smith in the role, and I thought the new companion was excellent. I didn't expect to like her being so young, but she was brilliant. I'm very happy the new series has started here in the states.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Burrell ass-called me twice today. I feel...high in the alphabet.

So sorry about that ita. If it makes you feel better, it wasn't my ass calling you, it was my purse. (Yeah, I didn't think that would make you feel better.)

My day has been pretty craptastically busy. Started with 4 or 5 hours working on a long-ass document, came home to grading, got yelled at by husband for spending morning working on document instead of grading, went to dinner, got yelled at by daughter for not buying her an American Girl Doll, came home to more grading. Can't go to bed until this set is done and sent off.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I found number 16! And it's HARD.

That's one that seemed like I should know it. 3 and 6 also seem faintly familiar.

Swouncing

Skipping on the other end of shabbat, because according to the Buffista Calendar, today is beth b's birthday.

Happy birthday, beth! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh man, I just had a delicious dinner, thanks to Groupon!

Ooh, me too! We went to Tupelo in Cambridge. MAN, I love Southern food.

Sigh, got up too early. The puzzles of potential logistics are making it hard to sleep. We are going to see my parents and grandmother in CT today, tell them about what's going on. Well, as far as we know. Which is still up in the air.

I don't know what to do with all this STUFF! We have some pretty decent furniture - end tables, bookcases, sofa, dining room set - and nice quality stuff (kitchenware, decorative doodads, like cut glass pitchers and dishes and handmade wool fancy hats and a kitchen balancing scale and a hurricane lamp) that I am just overwhelmed about what to do with it all. Yard sale? Freecycle madness? donate? And let's not even talk about all the books we've been culling (because that will make me cry.)

My cat Taz is being kind of weird lately- more subdued than usual, and having inconsistent issues with jumping and climbing. Like, he'll do fine and then he'll misjudge and tumble back, and then he sort of uncertainly flops down in that spot. But other times, he's fine, can make the leaps, etc. I don't think he's injured, but I really hope he is not sick. Aw, guy!
