I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, I've been there! It was neat.

While mac has been at the birthday party, I went and bought 2 pairs of shoes, some Indian outfits, and two saris to use as shears in the new house. Yay.

Thrive to spite them

Dean likes to knock things over. Especially cups and glasses with anything in it. So I always have to be aware of where my glass is and sometimes I have to hold it.

I can tell when he gets really bored, he starts systematically knocking everything off tables.

Luckily he's easily distracted by the Squeaky Toy being tossed in the play cube/tube set up I have.

brillig

Hubby's old cat would go along shelves with breakables, check to see if anyone was watching, then knock something off with just enough effort to clear the shelf. Then he'd stare at us superciliously as we yelled at him. Sometimes he'd wait till we were close enough to catch the breakable.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It cannot be understated how nice it is that they love you.

I've lived with indoor cats. The cats and I got along great. I just didn't get the reason for them being there. I can totally understate it. Honestly, it gives me the heebie jeebies.

Should I ever fall in love, I'm sure it will be to a man who's devoted to his indoor dogs and cats. It's the sort of trauma I deserve. Small dog(s) too.

We went for a walk this morning with a friend out in Santa Clarita. If SC weren't so damn far, I'd kinda love to live there in a weird way. Lots of families with kids etc.

We ended up with 3 adults and 4 kids. I felt outnumbered.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Possibly due to the being outnumbered?

Note to self: even mediocre garlic aioli makes a likewise mediocre sandwich taste much better than it actually is.

I think it is time for me to make some muffins. I think today it will be bran muffins. I might also get motivated enough to also make a batch of malt-o-meal muffins. double the muffins = double the fun, right?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Cats seem to prefer to be with the people. Nathaniel, the new cat, is not quite sure where he should be with the people. Sometimes we are boring.
