Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, but Wellemeyer's pitching. If they win a third of his games they'll win the division.

I remain completely annoyed and mystified as to why Bochy didn't pitch Cain against the Dodgers. The Gigantes made a run of it though--made it a 10-8 game in the end.

Now I am watching the Sharks.

ita brought the sparkle before the Twilight craze.

Me too. I've watched like 5 hours of hockey in a row. Do. Not. Like.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But whenever I was having a rough time and having to go to my "zen place", it usually included reminding myself of how something as simple as nail polish makes me happy. Not sure if I'm explaining that right.

Sounds right to me.

Yay testing, Suzi!

Really? Is it that much worse rolling around on the floor with a strange woman if she sparkles

Is there Jello involved?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

tee hee, now I am picturing a sparkly throw down between ita and Edward.

Sorry Kat, I don't have a good rec. Our lady is so so, but then our house is a nightmare so I give her a pass. But if I really wanted the place clean? I'd find a new house cleaner.

I want to see you soon, and not just for the Nubar. But my weekends have been gnarly busy of late. phooey.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yeah, still can't see "Nubar" without hearing, "Do the dance of Joy!"

It sounds more like a protein bar to me.

Oy. There was good climbing and better beer tonight.

Dana: I SEE WHAT YOU DID THAR. (Re: magic beans.)

Tomorrow there will be Goodwilling and furniture moving and maybe even taping before I go to the theater. I wish I had better audiobooks to listen to while working around the house: Pillars of the Earth is really kind of awful in this format, although I suspect it would be okay as a novel because I could skip/skim as necessary.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I love Pillars of the Earth, and I just realized I left my copy on the shared bookshelf at my old office. Ah well. It is the kind of book I'll take breaks from, though, and read something quick.

Good morning, Natter! I woke up too early, but stayed in bed and read my book until I was too hungry to wait any more.
