Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's funny -- I grew up with a broiler drawer, so I figure that's the One True Broiler, but I can see what you people are saying. Mostly if I broil now, I do it in the toaster oven anyway.

Holy crap. My brother just called to say that he got married this afternoon.

Holy crap! That's exciting.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wait...

Brenda, did your brother get married in Russia?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Nope, they're in DC right now. Well, technically Virginia.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Betty White in a Metal Bikini Wielding a Flaming Chainsaw While Riding a John Ritter Centaur

The Portland Mercury, an entertainment magazine in Portland, Oregon, asked readers to take a poll about what they’d like to see on the cover of an issue. Artist Andrew Zubko executed their vision with this magnificent illustration.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently Jay Z will be doing the music for Betty White's SNL episode.

Tangentially.

That drawing = terrifies.

Oh man. I have to figure out how to get a cleaning company in here to clean before Grace gets home and how to pay for it. This is like the smallest piece of life to stress about with everything I'm trying to juggle, yet it's a piece that I can actually do on my own (sort of... A paycut in the form of major furlough is just starting to sink in mentally), unlike the other discharge stuff.

LAistas... any recs on housecleaners?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The test was a blast. Hard work, but not as bad as I expected. There was only one other blue belt adult and I have tested with her before. It was nice working with her.

A couple of the male senseis noticed my nails - fingers and toes. Cracked me up. But whenever I was having a rough time and having to go to my "zen place", it usually included reminding myself of how something as simple as nail polish makes me happy. Not sure if I'm explaining that right.

Tomorrow is CJ's turn to test. While I got to test at my regular dojo, his test is in the Denver HQ and with the Master. His test should also be 3 or so hours while mine was just 2 hours.

Ok, beyond all the mememe stuff, congrats to Brenda's brother. And I have never used a broiler drawer.

Suzi, I used to train glittered for similar reasons. I'm glad to hear it went well.

Kat--you around tomorrow morning?
