Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes.

Can I just say how ridiculous it is that people keep asking me to work on things that will continue past the end of my contract, and which I don't think my successor has the experience to handle when I'm gone? RIDICULOUS.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yay Tom!

Now I want red beans and rice. No ketchup. Hot sauce, and a piece of cornbread.

Because books.

I notice this malls sometimes, and parking garages. Maybe they build it that way on purpose?

The status is NOT quo.

YAY TOM AND NORA!!! I'm so happy for you!

Can I just say that I am an idiot? Why, oh why, did I try to engage civilly with the craxy people on the Internet? Silly self. You know better. Walk away before the stupid strikes you blind.

Hey, maybe they'll keep you!

Well, that's one of the things that we love, your relentless optimism.

Please no. I can't take them any more! Of course, if I don't get the job I'm currently hoping for, I'll be slightly screwed, but can cross that bridge when I get to it...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congrats, Nora and Tom!

One of the business users I interact with told me that he'd give me a recommendation if I needed one for the contract-to-hire process. He was very adamant that he doesn't do that much. God, my fingers are crossed so tightly.

Because books.

Fingers crossed for both Jesse and ita. And for Tom's negotiations!

I need lunch. Surprisingly, or not, I want nothing with a condiment.
