Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Wow -- some town here just cancelled ALL high school activities -- INCLUDING SPORTS -- to balance next year's budget. Yikes. I bet they raise taxes instead, in the end.

The town where I went to high school did that at least twice. They'd submit a budget like that and say that was the only way to balance it, then everyone would get into an uproar, then the town would find some way to give the schools more money, usually by raising taxes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, they have to pass some kind of override to raise the taxes. (Prop 2 1/2! I remember that from my yute.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Was the new Wolverine movie any good?

I saw it this past weekend. It was pretty horrible. It came out while I wasn't seeing movies in the theatre, and I heard it sucked, so I didn't rush to it.

Pretty, but horrible. Fun to see Liev in an all out action role, but the plot was pretty weaksauce.

Britney Spears releases pre-digital alteration photos. Man, the quest for impossible. The Daily Mail categorising her as imperfect doesn't help.

Library of Congress to preserve all public tweets. Huh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey ita, I've sent you some Paget Brewster pictures recently, right?

I just sent you some other Criminal minds related pictures.

Thanks! I think I do indeed have some Paget in my backlog. I made a small dent in it yesterday. I need to clear it out this weekend.

Okay! I won't send you any more then.

At least not right now

You know what some other people do? They just send me SUGGESTIONS. I have been spoiled. Most emails come with attachments. Slow as I am, the ones without get opened much more slowly. And then some of them need major cropping and image improvement, or they're just teeny. But you know what you like to look at. I'm much happier with a pic I have to crop down to 800x800 (my current max dimensions).

Current architecture is set up for runs of 100 pictures. But between Jensen Ackles, Orlando Bloom, and Johnny Depp I might need to fix the code to expand to 1000 pics. Each of those guys has over 50 pics already.

Going through the Ackles you sent me I wanted to start a lips.provocateuse.com with Jensen and Gina Torres to lead off with. THen some Gina Gershon...mmmm good.

See, I didn't know this, and I think some of the ones I sent you recently are too big. I will crop from here on out, if you want.

Because books.

Jesus, lips. I approve of this idea.

I think I sent you bandom pictures once and you shunned them. But Brendon Urie could be a key element of a lips site, I tell you what.

Send 'em big, Perkins. I prefer doing the cropping. Sometimes if they're really pretty I keep the full size for my private collection (I don't share everything) and I like to pick if I'm resizing or clipping.

Did, I, Amy? I'm slower if I don't recognise the pictures (especially if I have to go look them up--some people figure I know, but they're just faces with me). But I have a mental coin toss to add each new person. I'm pretty sure I crossed the bandom barrier already. Who's Brian Molko? He wears a skirt. I swear I just saw a pic of Adam Lambert in a skirt. I need to hunt that down.

Maybe my backlog is deeper than I thought. I've just been sitting on my ass on pain pills and watching TV. I think I'm out of pain pills, so there may be more work getting it done. If the pain doesn't keep me horizontal.

Oh--Not to say I'm not grateful. Just wayyyy behind.
