Mal: Gotta say, doctor, your talent for alienatin' folk is near miraculous. Simon: Yes, I'm very proud.

My brother got into so.much.trouble when he was deployed to Macedonia during the Serbia thing. Boredom is dangerous. Apparently, spanish troops? Throw wicked all day parties. I'm in possession of the only prints of pictures he took. Needless to say, most of them are crooked. The Clintons came to base at one point, and what did they take pictures of? Why, posing with the Secret Service dudes and their sniper rifles.

Because books.

Heh. Your brother sounds awesome, too.

Charlie showed me the pictures he took last trip over Christmas, and they were so grim. Actually some were bleakly beautiful, too, but most of them were grim.

He and the SEALs he's there with seem to have, uh, their fun from time to time, too, though.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

xpost from Bitches: TurboTax has changed their free e-file guidelines and now my AGI is too high. Anyone got a rec for another good free e-file company? H&R Block work well? I meet their criteria.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I haven't had any problems with H&R Block, that I know of. And I just told them I would be somewhat likely to recommend them, so....

In addition to the deep contemplations on the X-Men, which is killing me, Steph is also killing me:

Yo yo yo!!! Ear wacks all up in the hizzouse!

This made me laugh really hard.

This also made me laugh.

FYI.

Also, here are a bunch of pictures from the Sarah Palin event here today, including a bunch from the REAL Tea Party: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So I gave it careful consideration, and I've actually found I can rank most of the male, straight X-men in terms of desirability.

I only find that mostly sad.

    • Wolverine
    • Forge
    • Nightcrawler
    • Longshot
    • Professor X
    • Colossus
    • Bishop
    • Sunfire
    • Thunderbird
    • Havok
    • Banshee
    • Gambit
    • Angel
    • Cannonball
    • Iceman
    • Beast
    • Magneto
    • Cable
    • Cyclops

::sigh::

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Someone is coming to see my place again tomorrow morning. I am encouraged. I managed to get two loads of stuff out of the house which created some space for me to put more away. I have a large shopping bag going to the thrift store tomorrow morning and I plan to take one more load down to storage in the morning. Turns out I have to give 30 day notice on the storage room, so I have it for another month. I am dumping all the stuff I plan to sell plus all the empty boxes down there. I also managed to vacuum and wash dishes, so if I empty trash and clean litter boxes, I should be good in the morning.

On the food clean out, I made waffles tonight which finished off one box of Bisquick. I also cooked up some pasta sauce which took care of some perishables as well as a box of cream cheese. Also cooked up another pot of rice which I'll pair up with veggies and beans and fish over the weekend and early next week.

Tomorrow is my first day at the new office. I am going in late because mac has an appointment for a new leg brace (he's grown another half inch since December). This whole week has been a madhouse with the office move and appointments and house showing. I fear people wanting to see it all weekend. I want to sleep in and veg out on the couch!

msbelle, your post makes me so tired just reading it. But yay on getting so much done and another viewer for the house!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Used H&R Block, it went fine.

msbelle is a powerhouse. Seriously, she got me getting more things done without feeling hit by a truck, almost a year ago.
