Hmm. I think if I were "on a break" from my husband/boyfriend, it would depend what we were breaking for. Cheating? Intimacy? I'd spell it out, also -- we are on a break, so what are we trying to accomplish, and can we mess around?
But I am blunt. Hmm. I dunno. I've seen too many relationships split and break becuase of a threesome, or an open relationship that doesn't have clearly defined expectations. It's just...fraught. I think people go into it with oftentimes the idea of pleasing either their partner or themselves, and don't really parse out what does this mean to us as couple.
I would have no problems, say, if D. were to kiss or grab ass a little with one of my girlfriends, because I would know it to be harmless. Basically, if you do it in front of me, it's ok. If you do it without my knowledge, there's gonna be some pain.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I stand with DJ and Erin. Clearly defined boundaries - doesn't matter so much WHAT they are so much as that they are understood and agreed by bothall parties involved. I've been in a threesome and it worked very well for us, because we all agreed on how things would work. (The relationship disintegrated in flames, but not because of sex or crossed boundary lines. Crazy increases exponentially, not linearly, with the number of crazy people in the equation.)

Just went to look at a 2002 Honda Civic Hybrid. If all the money lines up we'll get it tomorrow. (JZ's dad is kicking in money.)
Key Selling Point: Has HOV sticker, which allows us to not only go in the car pool lane but not pay bridge toll. They don't hand these out with hybrids anymore but the original stickers are still good. That would be a significant savings for us, like $100/month.
