information libertarian

The comments are pretty priceless, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You should contact the production company! Clearly they need a translator/cultural liaison.

Heh. That would have been me 15-20 years ago, but I'm still rusty.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I went on my second sailing lesson yesterday. Major fail. The winds were less but from the North, which meant waves had the length of Lake Michigan to build up so they were much bigger than Sat. I got seasick about half an hour into the lesson and could not stop throwing up. Eventually I was just puking bright yellow bile (at least I assume that's what it was.) They had to drop me off at a dock while the rest of the guys continued the lesson.

So I went home. Got on a train, went one stop, got off to throw up, got on the next train and made it the next ten stops to home. Stayed in bed the rest of yesterday. This morning I still wasn't feeling well so I called in sick. (When I close my eyes, I still feel myself bobbing about in that 21' boat.)

Am still rather depressed about the whole thing. Dunno if any anti-nausea remedies would help enough for future lessons.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

tommy, it's definitely worth trying, isn't it? Sorry you had such a miserable time, though.

I am trying to decide if I should consider going to the doctor. Maybe. I have been coughing for about a week, and it's getting worse rather than better. But if it's just allergy-related, there's nothing they can do.

Oh man, that sounds miserable, tommyrot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh, tommy. Can you get to any anti-nausea meds today?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, tommy, that sounds horrible. How are you feeling today?

ION, I am wearing inside pants. At WORK. Today is pajama day and I am so excited to be in inside pants all day long. My principal, who is about 6'3", is wearing a blue fleece footie pajama with duckies on it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My principal, who is about 6'3", is wearing a blue fleece footie pajama with duckies on it.

That is awe-inspiring!

It's pretty fantastic. I sent a kid up to his office earlier today to take some pictures for the video yearbook. Oh, yes, he will be displayed prominently.

Oh! And he's carrying around a big white teddy bear.

Just ate some oatmeal. That made me feel nauseous again so I took a nap. I feel somewhat better now.
