Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Apparently, getting to my job interview this week (!!!) will take me an hour. That is a HUGE BUMMER. Apparently I live in exactly the wrong spot to get there via public transportation.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yeah, SF just told Seattle that the 6:00 flight can expect to leave at 11:00.

And that's the earlier flight that I am on standby on. I am confirmed for a flight scheduled for 8:40.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

Things that really hurt: Wearing earphones and wiping dust off of the monitor. The feeling was akin to filling one's ears with pop-rocks. Ow... just ow.

Our wings are not tired.

I just loaded a bunch of photos from last night to both Facebook AND the Buffistas pool on Flickr. So, check the pool!

And in searching my Flickr site for an older photo of Matilda, I found this!. When was she ever so small??

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I attempted to make my own sticky rice with mango. It was okay for a first attempt, but the rice was too firm. The quick-and-lazy recipe I used has you cook jasmine rice and substitute 1/2 the water with coconut milk. I think that because coconut milk is so thick, I needed to compensate with extra water -- not a ton, but a little. I'll have to try that next time.

So, not as good as what I've gotten in restaurants, but not that bad for a first try.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hey, BigDuluth--don't do that again, m'kay?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Walking home from my massage today I got a call from my realtor that someone wants to see my place at 10am tomorrow. SO on my newly pounded and ground muscles I have spent the last 4 hours cleaning. Do not feel great.

It shouldn't have been that much work, but I had pulled out a bunch of stuff in the hopes of doing ebay and craigslist listing this evening. Also, no cleaning lady this past Friday, so all that stuff needed to get done. Also also, I had food I had to cook. I think it is 90% done. I'd really like an assistant/house elf/husband/maid/wife/fairy godmother through this whole house selling stuff. I am going to stay exhausted, I can tell.

MsBelle, I meant to add to the comments earlier about how beautiful your place looks in the real estate photos. Where does Mac's room fit in the floor plan? I know it's not technically (legally) a second bedroom, but is it represented on the floor plan?

not represented in the floor plan. In one photo looking down into the sunken living, you see his door. I had a wall built 8.5 feet from the exterior wall in the living room.

Scrappy: Yeah, no question. They're the type with part of the earpieces IN the ear canal. I need a flatscreen.
