"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I love that idea.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sadly, my most immediate thought of Dixie Carter is from commercials that she's done for some neck syndrome that I keep seeing because I watch cable tv at odd hours.

I kinda really love the show Parenthood for the following reasons: Craig T. Nelson, it's one of the few shows that has a special needs kid whose parents are lost, the siblingship between Lauren Graham's character and Peter Krause's character. I'm really enjoying it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I agree, Kat.

CNN and MSNBC don't have anything about Dixie Carter.

Because books.

I loved what I saw of Parenthood for the same reasons, plus Mae Whitman. I just couldn't add another show, without a DVR, so I'm planning to get the DVDs later on.

I love how not!Lorelei Lauren Graham is, too.

Edited to actually make sense.

Yeah. Her character is a mess and is a mess in a way that makes complete sense.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I like Parenthood too, for those reasons, and also it makes me think of my BFF's family (who is sort of mine too), because all the brothers and sisters are all up in each other's business.

I am so sad about Dixie Carter. I loved her on Designing Women so much-- I wanted to be her and just be able to cut people down with my righteous indignation and cutting wit. I did not turn out to be her.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I didn't realize Dixie was 70. Man, she was still Designing Women era age in my head.

Dinner turned out FAB, though there are tons of left overs. Anyone wanna come over?

I would love some leftovers!

I am in tech week (well it is two weeks because we are doing two plays), but I am actually home because I have 2 good students, and they came in from 10 am - 1 am for me. I am thinking it is good to let go, but I feel guilty. I would much rather let go of the 8 am - noon sewing notes than helping plan quick changes, but still...sleep...

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I remember her "Night thr Lights Went Out In Georgia" monologue from DW.
