Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

First health care, now jobs: Right wing advocates discriminating against Obama voters.

Today on Twitter, hate radio host Neal Boortz advocated that businesses fire Obama voters to deal with the tough economy:

Why should you have to provide a livelihood to someone actively working to destroy your business?

If Obama is hurting your business ... and you have to lay off someone ... why not lay off an Obama voter? They contributed to your problem.

Steve Benen writes, “Obviously, as a substantive matter, this doesn’t make any sense. As a legal matter, it’s a crime to fire an employee based on how he or she voted.” Discriminating against Obama voters seems to be a new trend for the right wing. In Florida recently, a doctor posted a sign reading, “If you voted for Obama…seek urologic care elsewhere.”

information libertarian

Why is everyone in the audience (of Jee Hevisaurus) waving stuffed bananas? (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ha! The cat-hating boss I sent a random kitten generator link to just responded with a link to standing cat. We may have a cat battle on our hands.

The same place that has standing cat also has Bad Bird.

Everything you must know about Standing Cat

The cat's name is Rocky. He is 2 years old and his owners are French (Daisy and Yann). Rocky used to stand up because he couldn't see the birds through the windows, and wanted to, so he stood up. Why does he raise his leg in the middle of the video? Probably because there was a bird outside, according to Daisy, or maybe a dog wandering around. Rocky hates dogs.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Callaluna update.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh thanks, Tom. I had no idea. Poor Callaluna. But that is one damned beautiful newborn.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

that really is a damn cute kid.

I have nothing to attach my house obsession to at the moment. There is no job that needs doing, I can't think of things I need to choose or find. I have all the nervous energy and nothing to focus it on. WAH!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I like Atheist Barbie's lunch. Plus the "no pants to be ready for surprise orgies."

Could you make out the name on the book? I got "Richard" but couldn't parse the last name.

hip deep in pie

Look what we spotted at lunch today, the BatTruck: [link]

ETA: It's a crappy picture but my coworker and I were trying to take it from the backseat of a moving car.

Looks like Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion."
