I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hm. Treme. Various returning shows. I need to get through more of my TBR pile before I can think about new books. There are movies i'm excited to see, but I seem to be very bad at actually getting to a theater to see movies, so that's moderated by reality, somewhat. Local Earth Day stuff is coming up, does that count? And my local Farmers Market starting up, cannot wait for that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

First Image Of Solar Eclipse In Another Star System

Every 27 years, the star Epsilon Aurigae is swallowed up, and scientists had no idea why. Now, using a special technique that produces images 140 times clearer than the Hubble Space Telescope, we've finally gotten images of it happening.

Researchers at the University of St. Andrews were able to combine light from four different telescopes, to produce the super-clear images of the Epsilon Aurigae eclipse.

Cool. Also amazing that they could do this.

Always Anti-fascist!

I totally want to see Treme, too. Simon described as being more like "Northern Exposure" than some of his other work, which somehow makes me very happy. I also want to see the Steve Carrell/Tina Fey couple comedy, but I'm not so sure this is a cultural phenomenon.

Not sure if anyone would be interested or a match for these jobs, but Zipcar has several positions posted in Cambridge. Also Container Stores are supposed to be a great company to work for. I will probably be applying with them once we move and I saw they have some store positions open in other states as well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Culturally I am looking forward to the return of some TV: Leverage, White Collar, Eureka, and the season ending of Supernatural (in that Oh, no, don't end! way). And movies: Iron Man 2, The Losers, maybe Inception.

Ah, tearjerkers. I thought I got started with a list, but it's so incomplete. Apparently I like sad fiction.

Hmm. Lady one cube over just said she "didn't have the spoons" to do something. I've never heard that other than on LJ/blogging.
