What upcoming events on the cultural calendar are you looking forward to?
Like Tom, I'm excited for
Kick-Ass,
which I have now failed to see for free TWICE, so I guess I will have to pay for it. I also want to see
The Losers
and
Iron Man 2.
And probably various other summer movies. Including
Scott Pilgrim.
And
Inception,
although I am worried it could be more slow and boring than awesome.
I just bought shoes online for the first time! I'm a-scared, even though I have tried them out in the store. What if they're not exactly the same? What if they look different? What if my feet have grown? Maybe it wasn't the same size I tried on before? Maybe this is actually a variant style from the one I tried on? Aaaargh. Oh well, after checking a few places, I luckily stumbled onto the shoes I wanted at DSW, and there is a store in Union Square I can return them to if they're not right.
I'm excited about Treme, I guess, except we don't have HBO.
Is Caprica any good? The last couple of seasons of BSG were so bad I didn't even think of watching it.
Questionable Content shares the opinion of many Buffistas: [link].
I love that the bottle was labled "Emergency Bourbon"
I'm counting down to new White Collar. Also looking forward to Iron Man 2.
I am Jesse. Culturally speaking.
Is Caprica any good?
I'd say so. It started out OK and just got better and better.
Glee comes back next week!
Our house has turned into wedding, wedding, wedding even though the event is over a year away.
Now that I have finally seen Iron Man, I am definitely onboard with anticipating Iron Man II.
I was looking at my stats on Flickr which I have never really noticed for some reason. I have a picture of a blue waffle that I made for mac (remember we did waffles Friday nights before therapy started and we dyed them sometimes) that gets over 50 views a day. I find that so odd.
ION, mac's therapist is really happy with how things have gone over our vacation, but she is totally overwhelmed by my crazy-planniness that I have going on about the move. I kinda exhaust her.
Are there any books we're looking forward to?
(I'm using the collective "we" there, not the royal "we." I feel I need to make that distinction. Though I think that it's been established I'm more likely to be mistaken for Mummy Dust than a Viscount.)
