It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, one of the scenesters is "#1 Pete Wentz Fan."

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

It was 80 yesterday, but I refuse to let that sway me. I wore bamboo cable knit tight a skirt and a cardigan to work. My classroom is controlled temp wise in the manner I decide so it was chilly in there.

After a meeting at UCLA, K and I drove to the beach and walked the boardwalk, watching the sun set. We walked for about ~2 miles and I looked like an idiot with my black tights, grey skirt, white shirt, black sweater. I got chilly and put on my mittens too, so that probably did not improve the look at all.

Today is supposed to be as warm as yesterday (linen pants, camisole, cotton shirt) but Monday is supposed to be 20+ degrees cooler and rainy.

Coding and Sleeping

Oh, and the broken A/C? Frozen line

That could be an indicator of being low on refrigerant.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hmm. Not sure if that's handsy enough for hands, or wet enough for wet, or just good enough for best...my life is really hard.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My yard is full of people setting up cameras and stuff! Yikes!

ETA, he looks pretty wet to me, ita.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wheee, Scrappy!

I want to know why people at my job are so effing lame. We're supposed to be announcing this big thing today, and has anything come out yet? No it has not.

Oh, are any of you people Sam's Club members?

so exciting, Scrappy!

I have lots to still at work to catch up, but what do I want to do? SHOP FOR MY NEW HOUSE! Do I have money to spend? no. Do I even really need anything? no.

Thus far, I have resisted. I may break down later today and put up a shopping list for my mom of stuff to go get that we will need in the days that we are there before the movers come. Of course, that is 3 MONTHS AWAY, and focusing on this stuff now is RIDIC, but hello, I'm me and that's how I roll.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And if you're going to be thinking about it anyway, you might as well write it down.
