Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't know he got hit by a car while training for the 100 mile MS bike ride last year. His mom has MS. Also, he's slightly traumatized about turning 40.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But with Reagan it's weird. He's so revered on the Right, but it's like they've forgotten much of what he did.

Kinda' like how the Christian Right ignores much of what Jesus said and did.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am plowing through work, but it feels painfully slow. Only like 9 things off my desk and 5 out of my email. Please to make all this stuff disappear.

ION - Going out for a walk at lunch to get take-out Ethiopian for mac's dinner.

I think I liked it fine - just like anything else it only works as well as the people using it, but you certainly knew where things got stuck and things did nto get "lost" waiting for approvals like paper copies did.

Coding and Sleeping

But with Reagan it's weird. He's so revered on the Right

He was transformational as president. He challenged the idea that government is used to solve problems with the idea that government is the problem. He pumped up the military and made the idea of a peace dividend a political loser. The cold war ended (sort of) on his watch.

We have an issue tracking system now. It's just incredibly buggy and there's not really a way to differentiate what is actually a large change or enhancement from what is actually a defect.
