I'm doing the running around like mad before a trip thing, today. Have to make yet another Target run, make sure the iPod is charged, that I have all the necessary chargers and cables and oh, yeah, make sure I have my damned dress for the wedding, which I had to go freakin' buy because nothing fits. ::insert grumbling re: stoopit body here::

And after I get back from Texas, I have to then go into a frenzy of house cleaning because my in-laws descend for their first visit to the crazy people who left family behind on the other coast.

So.

And did I mention the 1800 word article I need to write by next Monday? I'll be writing on the plane, I think.

ETA to correct typos because I need moar coffee

My goal today at work is to plow through emails and then tackle the small mountain of invoices that accumulated while I was out. We move to the new space in a week, I need to seriously clean out my area before then.

Is smonster around this morning? Maybe I should look in Bitches. I wanted some thoughts on the Rocky Mount/Greenville area of NC.

Well, Greenville is home to Eastern Carolina University. ECU has a bit of a rep as a party school, and that may well spill over into the surrounding town--for better or worse. Greenville's fairly close to the ocean, which is nice. That means it's also fairly close to hurricanes when they come ashore in NC, which is somewhat less nice and happens every so often.

The only Lady Gaga song I know is 'Poker Face' but, ironically, I've never heard it performed by Lady Gaga.
