Crap, crap, crap. A crown fell out while I was eating dinner. Don't wanna find a dentist tomorrow. Just the idea has me feeling like crap. I am way too dentist-phobic.

Suzi, you know to go buy some denture glue, right? Besides it feeling icky, you don't want stuff shifting. And may you find a dentist you like the way I like mine. They've basically gotten me over my dentist appt aversion. OK, that might be the frequency of appts the past 3 years, but... it worked? And had me at 3-4 cleanings a year, which might go back down since the last couple she's made noises about it seems like I'm getting less buildup in the past year. (Probably helps I now have 4 crowns...)

I felt all CSI today. My officemate, the one from California, was complaining that there's no good Mexican food out here. He says that you know you're not going to get good Mexican food if they serve white rice and black beans. I said that there are some good Mexican restaurants, but a lot more not so good ones. Then I remembered that a friend of mine who graduated a few years ago was from Mexico, and she once took us to a Mexican restaurant in Virginia for her birthday, and she said that it was the most authentic Mexican food around. So he asked me what it was called, and I couldn't remember. I said I'd email my friend, but this was at least four years ago, and she hasn't lived in DC for three years, so I doubted that she'd still remember.

So, then I had an idea. We were there for a birthday party. People take pictures at parties. So I checked the flickr accounts of the people that I could remember being there and found a few pictures. One of them had the front window in the background, and when I zoomed in, I could see most of the website address, backwards. It was just missing a few letters, which were easy enough to figure out, so I went to that website, and on the front page was a picture of a plate of food with yellow rice and pinto beans.

Man, I just did an inventory of my teeth, and out of 28, only 11 or 12 have never been filled/crowned. And until I was 19, I'd only had 1 cavity. (11 extractions, but those were baby teeth refusing to budge and my wisdoms.) Adulthood can bite me.

Ah spring: a bee or fly got in the house and after causing the cats to Knock Much Stuff Over, immolated on my halogen. Smells smokey in here.
