Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My personal earthquake news is that if you are riding on the teacups ride you can't feel it. Who knew?

::raises hand::

It is raining in San Diego.

Really??? I was talking to dad last night and he said they needed rain. I said I'd send some down. IT WORKED. I AM AS A GOD. Except we still have rain. Whose rain did I send?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Whose rain did I send?

New England's?

brillig

Well, there was 4 inches of snow in Utah yesterday, so someone will be getting rain to the east of us.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For my lunch today, I am eating a hamburger while simultaneously trying to build an analog synthesizer from a kit that only has instructions in Japanese.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, not only am I severely underdressed (and people have been looking at me funny) I was so out of it during my morning meeting that I earned a "need some Red Bull?" comment.

Not my best Monday ever.

Rain here, along with some hella blustery wind.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

errands have been run. 1 more cart full of stuff out of my house and groceries only back in. good times. now to cook some food for the week.

after basically no issues all vacation, today mac is being a giant pill. he is refusing to do anything but watch tv and I think he's eating candy.

I am ignoring him as long as he lets me do what I need to. He has built a fort out of pillows because he is "still mad at you". After a while I am going to want the tv though, since this is my last day of vaca and I have a week's worth of shows to catch up on.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's the engine block. Car is useless.

I'm scrambling now to find boxes to put all the car crap into them, and make the 2:15 bus out of Bakersfield to SF. (The last bus.)

Box-ma please.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's the engine block. Car is useless.

Fuck. I'm sorry. Much box-ma for you now and car-ma for the future.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh David, what a hideous experience. I have no remedy to offer, but I'm sending all hopes that a good alterative appears.

H was 23, I was 20. We probably should have divorced at least twice from then to now, and would have had we both not been stubbornly, some would say self-destructively or non-self-supportively, committed. But we were and we are, and it has been horrible and glorious and he's the best possible friend I could ever have, the most infuriating companion, the dearest and most compassionate. It works. We work.

Sorry, David. Good luck getting to SF.
