Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

A gorilla threw a rock at my sister.

I thought they preferred more . . . organic missiles.

Never saw you look quite so pretty before
Never saw you dressed quite so lovely what's more
I could hardly wait to keep our date this lovely Easter morning
And my heart beat fast as I came through the door...

Happy Easter everyone!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am trying to remember to breathe. ER has MPD. But none of last week's personalities were on display this morning.

I could stand to go home, though. But not until I get the breathing thing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Breath-ma, ita.

I'm being spirited away to the tulip fields, and maybe mountains. Later tonight we may watch...Spirited Away.

Happy Day for everyone.

The status is NOT quo.

I just read that a tanker carrying coal is grounded on the Great Barrier Reed because it went outside normal shipping lanes. It is leaking oil and on the verge of breaking up. There are no words for how horrified I am.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh dear god. That could destroy the Reef!

A Chinese ship, en route to China from Queensland, hit the reef at full speed, nine miles (15 kilometers) outside the shipping lane. WTF were they doing outside shipping lanes?

Saving money, avoiding pesky inspectors ie saving money, taking a shortcut ie saving money, ignoring inconvenient demands put upon them by people who aren't them ie saving money . . .

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Peter Garrett, the nation's environment protection minister, told reporters that the federal government is concerned about the impact an oil spill could have on the environmentally sensitive reef, which was selected as a World Heritage site in 1981. >[link]
