Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I love the Google logo.

My local radio station spent all morning making vague references to some scandal and just had the morning DJ hold a "press conference" in which he made an apology a la Tiger Woods or Jesse James. It wasn't their best effort.

A couple of years ago when April 1 was a Sunday they ran their normal weekday programming. Instead of waking up to Breakfast with the Beatles it was the regular morning DJ, news and traffic updates. A whole lot of people thought they were late for work.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

WXRT (I'm guessing that's your station, aurelia?) did a good April Fools Joke several years ago, where they said they had "instant online requests," so you could email your song request and have it played immediately.

Yep. Didn't they do a format change one year?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My favorite radio station switched to Spanish one year. Even though it was April 1st, people (including me), really fell for it.

Our wings are not tired.

My favorite was when KFOG swtiched to an "Only the good parts of your favorite songs, all day long!" and they played nothing but the chorus/bridge of the song.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dukes of Hazzard Cave Painting

Brandon Bird’s “Two Warriors Come Out of the Sky” presents The Dukes of Hazzard as a cave painting. It was created with acrylic paint and dirt on canvas. We’ve previously featured his Seinfeld/Bruce Lee remix and and his depiction of the death of Jennifer Sisko from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

information libertarian

My mother just called from Stone Mountain GA. Apparently she was mistaken when she told me her plane was landing at 2:30 and she'd be at my house at 5. April Fool's!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Steph, I use a MAC paint pot. [link] Painterly works for me, but you might need a different color. They run about $16, I think.
