Yes, Dana, I would buy many drinks.
I've also now spent enough time in the Salt Lake City airport to have a favorite bathroom.
I don`t remember having it by Lake Erie. That cuisine was all about the pierogies and gnocchi and spatzle mmm.
When I went to Cleveland in May, I requested that we have Polish food one night, because there are no good Polish restaurants (actually, no Polish restaurants, period) in Cincinnati. It was SO GOOD.
I saw someone buying a box labeled "Skyline Chili" at a local (NC) grocery store (no idea how it compares to the real thing).
Frozen Skyline comes in boxes; I'm not surprised it's trickled to other states. Hell, people here buy it frozen in order to make Skyline dip. Nom.
Yeah, we used to import it when we lived in Wichita. Me and my buddy who was also displaced from there. We used to buy it whenever either one of us went and then come home and have greedy hoarding parties of it.
Now he's moved to Indianapolis, and he eats it about three times a week. Hee.
slept in and now would like to go back to bed. Either that or lounge in front of tv all day. instead we will head out soon to the library to waste some time so mac doesn't get too stir crazy. His tv shows are about to end and then he seems lost at what to do for the rest of the day.
It's sunny and warm out today. A trip to the playground might be a good idea.
I really need to go do something, just so I get out of the house, but that means moving.
I took the kids to a gymnastics class today. They had fun. I wish it was longer than 40 minutes.
I think DH is going to take them to Sam's Club and I'm going to take a nap.
I am making chili right now! then I will make pasta and sauce and sausage, and then potato/cabbage/sweet potato soup. THen I may make chicken and rice. The idea is that I am making enough topack for lunches this week, and then freezing the rest to eat for lunches and dinners when theatre takes an upswing so I am not stuck buying crap or not eating.
ETA: I somehow have lost my other big pan, however, which is annoying because I can't make 2 things at once. I think I may have thrown it out in a fit of cleaning.
