Starbelly is lots of fun, I've been there several times, it's quite near where I work some times. And I love that they have delicious drinks that are non alcoholic!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

smooches Suzi

No sneetches, but there was a random dude at the bar that totally had my number. One of his first comments? "You look like you went to Wellesley." Hah!

OMG, that dude was a total douche. Came back not 10 minutes after you left, megan, and was... GAH.

One of the advantages to working in that kind of restaurant bar is the relatively low amount of Lonely Needy Drunks. Dude was a total LND.

Hec & JZ, thank you for coming in and letting me treat you. I'm glad y'all enjoyed it so much. megan, thank you for stopping in and sitting in front of me!

Clearly, you need to come hang out with us at Starbelly.

This goes for everyone. Yes.

Suela, meara, you must tell me more about this steampunk pub. Yes.

What she said! Like Teppy! Like Aurelia!

Man, I need to get back out to SF. It's been a while.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, me too. But my primary need right now is a Job (Census work doesn't count.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Making coffee at New Office a success! At least until someone tells me that the hot water is for union members only. (Yes, this is very likely to happen.)

hip deep in pie

We often feel like our office was put together with string, duct tape and cardboard. Well, it's really tins cans:

These are in the ceiling above our work area. We just did a little tin can tour of the ceiling with one of the gov't plumbers.

Man, I am so tired that I might just disintegrate.

(In between typing "might" and "just," my boss asked if I wanted to go downstairs with her and get coffee. Oh, yeah. I have an enormous coffee sitting next to me, waiting to be delivered directly into my bloodstream. Now I just need an IV line.)

I took a half-pill of muscle relaxant last night. No amount of caffeine is going to entirely erase the fuzziness therefrom, but at least I'm not in pain. Nor do I have to go out in the damp & cold for a while.

Laura -- what is this about moving? I must have missed something!
