msbelle, that's awesome! Have fun playing in dirt and hollering in your new halls.

Also, juliana is kinda rather sweet.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

DavidS, even Homer nods. (And not the Simpsons guy, either.)

(But it sucks when somebody else has to pay for your Stupidity Tax.)

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Love the rap lyrics site.

Hate the bad luck the Zmayhem family has had this march.

Love that msbelle is now a home owner and mac approves of the new casa.

Hate that letter writer and hope he gets burned but good by the blistering responses which await him.

My pet work peeve is people who promise you space for a meeting and then cancel after all the invitations for the meeting have already gone out.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm really craving the potato salad that my grandmother used to make. I'm not sure if I remember how to make it. It had potatoes and romaine and some onions, and the dressing was mayo and vinegar and mustard and something else. Maybe my mother can tell me how to make it. Then I need to buy potatoes and mayo and probably some other stuff. Potato salad should be less complicated. (Well, it would be less complicated if I hadn't run out of all my pantry basics last week and forgotten how to make it.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I bet Xzibit can sum things with his nether regions.

ita FTW.

My new cookbook has a recipe for vegan pickled herring. I am torn between intrigued and perplexed. (The "herring" part is eggplant.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I can see that.

I'm making celery root puree and crispy collard greens. Might put some fish with it, tilapia or salmon.
