We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

Is the wrongmobile a Hummer or an Escalade?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

∑ - sum, sum, sum, sum, SUM.

Haters.

Swouncing

It's interesting, because in Hebrew, the word for "sum" (as in the Inigo way, in a verb) also has the meaning of "add", on top of the Inigo-meaning, and just like in English, it's allowed to be used in the "We summed 2 and 2 to get 4", but is not the common word for that sentence. Huh.

Because books.

My least favorite misuse (imo) of a word is in the smoking cessation ads. "You'll be quit in a month" or whatever. No, you "will have quit." It's a verb, people.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just signed up for sailing lessons. They start next week on Saturday. Yay!

It's all part of the plan for Buffista world-domination. My part will be to set up the Buffista Navy.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My newest pet peeve (I sure go through a lot of these in the course of a day): people telling me how to do my job. I know how to do it! That's why it's my job!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm pretty sure they put it that way for a reason. I.e., they can't claim you will be anything more than currently not smoking. Every time I hear that commercial I hear hours of FDA/company counsel negotiation.

Feel better Java. I know K-Bug will be bummed to miss you.

I'm working at home today and baking during my breaks. The cake recipe I have required a 1/2 cup of coffee. I have not coffee in the house, so I had to go to Panera. While I was there I grabbed a sandwich, which I totally forgot to eat. Must nom now.

We have an even better plan! I am going to meet her on the 11th at an East Bay BART stop, and take her out for a belated birthday lunch! And then drive her to her car in Alameda. I was only going to get in a brief visit tonight, so this will be much better.

And my nausea is gone now, so I am pretty sure taking the new anti-biotic on an empty stomach was the culprit.
