Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

“Not dead yet!”

Okay, I've signed up on Library Thing as BarbaraCaridadFerrer and sent my email to them asking to be verified as an actual author.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Question: is "sum" a verb? If so, what was wrong with "add" or "totals"? This is why English has eighty bajillion words.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Question: is "sum" a verb?

"Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up."

Yeah, I don't mean in the Inigo way. I mean as in "We summed 2 and 2 to get 4."

And yes, I know it is actually a word. I just think it's stupid.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Blame writing - written language preserves fancy words which would otherwise disappear from normal use.

Our wings are not tired.

Crap.

Had a full day of planned stuff and am having to back out of all of it, including getting to see K-Bug and give her a ride to the airport.

Woke up with a pounding headache (which may or may not be hangover-related - we had our product launch party last night in SF), but the constant sneezing, runny nose and general aches are most definitely not hangover-related. And I started new huge anti-biotics for the ear infection too. So add nausea!

I'm embarrassed by the state of my house and the state of me because the dogwalker will be here in about 30 minutes and she will see me in my messiest, yuckiest glory.
