I look more rad than Lutheranism

I still think cincy "chili" is WRONG.

I imagine it's an acquired taste if you're not from here. Although I think most of the Buffistas who've visited me have been agreeable to it. (Billytea tried it and was polite about it not being All That; and I think shrift and I only went for pizza and beer; and Liese, The Boy, and I ate at Rock Bottom.)

But if you grow up eating it, hey, that's what normal tastes like. Nom.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I liked it! It wasn't chili, but I liked it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So yay a nice ending to a pretty normal day, but no issues or problems which all I was really wanting out of this birthday.

Yay.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I find the quickest way to punch up the flavor of veggie chili is a jar of good salsa.

Yeah, I use a good fresh salsa instead of tomato paste or stewed tomatoes. But that's not always an option away from salsa friendly regions.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That sounds like a pretty happy birthday, msbelle.

Props to your brother. t /vanilla ice

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I still think cincy "chili" is WRONG.

You have to mentally distinguish it from actual chili, and then it's really good.

msbelle, I'm so glad you have a brother like your brother.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad for a good end to the day, msbelle.

I don't think I put tomatoes in my chili. Haven't made it in a while, though, so I may just be forgetting.

Per the conversation earlier in the week, I lit a frozen candle and a room temperature candle and neither of them dripped. So, inconclusive.

Hope the snow waits 'til y'all are there, Hec.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay! Happy birthday msbelle! I'm glad it ended well.

I have been so thoroughly busy, busier than the usual first week of school. I hope I get a bit of breathing room soon.

Also? I was craving sushi all day even without dropping by here. Now I am REALLY craving it. sigh.
