I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

My first concert was Rush, in 1985(?) for the Power Windows tour. Good times.

In high school, the majority of us were into classic and/or AOR, but there were more than a few of us who adored Duran Duran.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have only ever seen one concert-- Harry Connick, Jr. My crowd issues, plus my driving issues make it problematic. I have seen bands perform music in bars, but I am not sure if that counts.(getting out of the Finger Lakes concert venue in a vehicle seems to take about an hour of inching ahead bit by bit over a random field, and then when you get out, you don't even know where the hell you are.)

In high school I stopped listening to music other than musicals and vocalists, so the concert thing never came up. I did go to Toronto to see musicals (Donny Osmond in Joseph was amazing)

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Barb is me. My first concert was Rick Springfield at Carnegie Hall in 1982 on my 11th birthday.

Best concert? I can't decide. But I went to about 20 shows in 1989, so it was probably one of them. Best concert: all of 1989. I still have the shirts.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dickish nurse in the ER. I can't work out if he's deliberately not understanding me, or it's a valid communication problem. But he's been just an ass. Apparently my migraine is gone because I've been passed out. Or maybe, just maybe, I've been closing my eyes and trying to sleep BECAUSE I HAVE A MIGRAINE.

I take it back. He is a dick. He lied to me about my file and tried to prevent me from seeing an attending. There was nothing the attending could do about today's treatment fiasco, but at least she impled it wasn't one pissy nurse determining what I could and couldn't get.

I am so frustrated, and in tears, and after one of my worst weeks of pain in months and months, still hurting. I'm at such a loss.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, I wish you could call ahead for the good nurse!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh ita. I wish there was something better or more we could do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In better news, my friend finally had her baby last night! Like 8-9 days past her due date.

They pay me in WOIMS

So I got home from work at 4:00pm, went straight to bed, and didn't get up all the way until 9:00am. You would think I would feel better after all that sleep, but not really.
