My vet told me to give the dog canned spinach to stop her eating her own poo. Dunno if it would word: I just got a lot more anal about picking it up.

Our wings are not tired.

Why IS honey so good in tea, and not such a thing in coffee? WHERE can I get good cuban coffee in Seattle? SHOULD I dye my hair red this afternoon? I think I'm going to.

Don't know. Barb's house! Yes.

Kristin, Macy's is the closest we get. Or Anne Taylor and Macy's.

Party is done. Fun was had. Both Noah and Grace are taking naps, which is lovely. Gracie was her usual QUEEN OF THE BACKYARD self.

Also, I love milk and will go to my grave eating and drinking milk products. It's one of my three things to eat if I could only eat three for the rest of my life. (Milk, Rice and Chicken... figuring I could mutate rice or milk in myriad ways including rice flour, mochi, yogurt, cheese).

Awwww, happy birthday to Noah and Grace. Any chance of a nap for Mom?

The status is NOT quo.

Yeah, I pretty much live for Ann Taylor and the Loft, mainly because they have a good petite section. Still, bummer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (party) to Noah and Grace!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I would be careful about giving dogs a tomato product. Tomatoes are supposed to be toxic for dogs. Probably not every dog but like chocolate, it's on the list of things you shouldn't feed dogs.

Oh no! Fortunately Dallas can't read or she would be bereft. She could well be one it doesn't affect, but I'm not taking that chance. Anymore.

Yep. I think I have to go lie down with Noah to get him to nap.

It was a nice party. Mimosas for adults and madeleines for kids. Plus potato balls and guava and cheese strudels from Portos, french toast casserole, truly mediocre cupcakes, fruit salad and a plate of fancy desserts that included a mango mousse that Grace ate two bites of (!! -- not without major coaxing and forcing but still!!), coronets, cream puffs and fruit tarts.

We had several kids ranging in age from 2 to 8. Lots of fun.

Hm. Tomatoes are not on any of the lists I use with my doggy clients. They ARE acidic and can cause stomach upset, but they aren't actually toxic. The tomato plant should be avoided, but they are so bitter, I can't imagine a dog eating the vine.

Foods that ARE toxic, and are much worse than chocolate: grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, onions, walnuts and avocados.

I know a lot of dogs eat avocados with impunity but I would not recommend testing your dog with them.

I was just reading this post on Jezebel about teen musical idols and realizing that I was in a spot that was too young for New Edition and too old for Joey Lawrence and NKOTB. The music of my 5th - 8th(1983-1987 )(is that the time when you like boybands?) was Michael Jackson/Madonna/Cydi Lauper dominated IIRC. Am I crazy?
