Sale won't be until May, most likely, but magic is beyond me...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Get all better, Bob.

(Though, frankly, I don't want to fuck cancer.)

I was getting a hair cut, and forgetting to buy capers.

How'd that turn out for you Cowgirl Granny-Do?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I did not go to the grandmother-approved spot, and think it's probably just OK. But at least it wasn't expensive.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh. I hadn't realised that The Hump closed in the wake of the whale scandal.

It's tough when you got your one true haircut on television.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Huge health-ma to Bob.

We are doing some lay-offs at work and decided it was easier on the staff to do them all in one day, so I have to fire five people tomorrow. Since three are in our Minneapolis office, I have to get up at 5am to do it. Gonna be a really long day. And I feel bad being unhappy about it, because of course it's much worse for the people we are laying off.

Oh, I think you can give yourself a break here. I personally would rather be fired by you than almost anybody.

Though I kind of want to refer you to the episode of Cheers where Norm is the layoff executioner.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

folded laundry and made a bed and straightened some more. I am feeling better about the shape of the place. Another bag of paper for recycling and another trashcan full of misc. little crap to toss.

now bed.
