Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Fannie Flagg's birth name is Patricia Neal?

I saw her in a production of the female Odd Couple (where they play trivial pursuit) in Corning NY in the late 80's. I thought it was weird that they got someone from The Match Game in Corning.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I loved The Match Game.

Me too! And it holds up surprisingly well.

“Not dead yet!”

Probably because Gene Rayburn was really rather naughty for the time period. Not to mention the panelists like Fannie and Charles Nelson Reilly who were absolute masters of double entendre.

They pay me in WOIMS

Plus the fact that they were all drinking between episode tapings.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I remember watching that, Merv Griffin, The Gong Show, The Newlywed Game, and The Dating Game - I knew they all were some level of naughty half the time - and I do believe at least half the people were drunk half the time. Oh, Dinah Shore also.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Hey Daisy Jane, do you have contacts in NO bar management still? I'm starting to think about what my plan will be once I'm able to get down there- I think I need to work for someone else for a little while to get the lay of the land, and I'm trying to suss out resources for doing so. Might this be something I ask Kara down the line as well?

I may have a few, lemme get on the phone with my friend Cynthia. Kara may know people. I mean heavens knows her circle is wide enough. Krissie may as well since she was in the business, I'm just not sure if all her contacts would be in Belle Chasse or not.

I HATED The Newlywed Game because I just hated the term "make whoopee"! I was a strange child.

Oh, also, smonster. I completely misremembered. Kara tutored athletes at FSU. I did ask if she knew of anything though.

Have I sent surgery~ma for Bob yet? Cause I meant to.

And don't forget The Hollywood Squares with Paul Lynde in that center square.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oooh, same here.

Nora, want I should see if my friends have any contacts? It's a much longer shot than DJ's friends, but I can check.
