I would be there right now.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I wish I could help them have a prom, but I haven't even done anything with things I could do here-- I just found out that the house next door to mine is now transitional housing for homeless women, and I would love to do something there.

I also wish I had three monitors. I have to do some very boring and tedious web database updating that takes 2 screens, but I want to watch a movie to keep my attention while I do it. It is a really bad database, and the interface they have quickly built is not ideal, so each time I make one change, I have to refresh the web and make sure I didn't lose some other piece of information.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The thing is, I don't think Constance has had a lot of support from her classmates, at least according to an interview. An Ellen prom might reward that behavior.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

An Ellen prom where Constance controls the guest list! Yes, that's the ticket.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

See how I've gotten terser?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

But then... wouldn't he have to live in Detroit?

Well, he went to college in Flint. So, it's kind of a lateral move.

I do see. But also? Still consistent. I like that. I also have Vernor's in my fridge. It is still the best ginger-flavored beverage.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just realized I had to develop and (just now) defend a plan that I'll have no part in implementing. That's kind of weird, kind of awesome.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

A little late in the day, but late bob~ma is better than no bob~ma at all, right?

lisah, good wishes are headed up 95 to you and DF.

I'm with ita, Vernors is not ginger ale. There's a difference.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
