Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I can get mango lassi at the end of my block.

I'm not sure I could get one in my state. But the recipe that I found looks like I should make it. [link]

My Tivo has gone strange this afternoon. The channel lineup is missing over half the channels. I still get them if I don't go through the channel listing. I even reran the channel set-up and it is still screwy.

Actually, at the moment, I'm just glad I have power. With the storm, I keep expecting it to go. It has flickered a few times.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why can I get Leverage but not Sons of Anarchy?

Because John Rogers sticks to his guns? I don't know if there's much else out there you can get streaming so close to its air date (Spartacus, maybe?). He's really dedicated to new media streams of propagation.

And on the flip side you have guys like Ed Bernero who won't let their shows stream on any web sites, because then it won't be the same experience. Ed? Dude? Already not the same experience--you can't stop me from TiVoing it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I like sweet lassi with heavy rosewater. Salt is eh. Mango's usually too sweet.

I prefer salty to sweet, so I go for plain, but, like gnocchi, it's hard to find a place that does them just right.

I abhor the salty lassi. It's possible that I just had the wrong one, but I'm not going to try again to find out. Then again...salt. I didn't know it was a salty lassi. I thought it was just non-mango.

Salty lassi, for me, is like a wasted opportunity. I always feel like I should have mango instead.
