Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

MEARA! MSBELLE!!! WHEEE!

I am only now eating dinner. And tonight was my night without plans except to set up a video chat with Taylor. Which I'll get to. Shortly.

Oy.

Trust my rage

msbelle, I think the fact they want to see it so soon is a really good sign. Like I doubt they would be turned off by mess. Good luck!

Got the video chat working. Kinda cool. I'll be able to better stay in touch with Taylor now.

It's a lot like talking over satellite linked-phones when my brother was overseas: talk, pause, count to three for a response to avoid talking over each other.

I'm getting the pig!

I'll be sure to let you know, Suzi.

Happy Birthday, Kathy!

Happy Birthday, Raq!

Happy belated Birthday, Pete!

We've decided to do a very mini-vacation in Santa Fe next month... which all stemmed from my Trader Joe's withdrawals. Anyway - we only have a couple of days there so I've been researching stuff to do online and I have some ideas but if anyone has any recs, I'd love to hear them.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay, interest, msbelle!

Woohoo house, meara!

Fingers crossed on the job, Jesse!

Birthday Felicitations to Raq!

I'ma have to join the next polish roundabout, I think.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

If you are willing to travel a little farther, I have fond memories of the museum at Los Alamos and the cliff dwellings at Bandolier National Monument.

I'll ask my mom, they go up there a lot and have some favorite restaurants and stuff.

So next month, I get to go see a special-for-work screening of this: [link] That's my Lisa interviewed (curly long hair) and a lot of my other coworkers. Fun! I requested 2 tickets (am guaranteed one) so hopefully I'll be able to take Taylor.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

The Los Alamos museum is cool, though I found it kind of depressing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks for the good wishes, y'all.
