All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Lunch! That's what I haven't done yet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

has anyone ever checked to see if there's something spinal involved in all this?

That's what they're treating right now--radiofrequency ablation of the nerves C3-C7 left and right side, because of cervical facet disease. Just for a while, the cure is worse than the disease. And I don't have much in the way of painkillers prescribed.

I'm still trying to finish breakfast.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have to say today's veggie chili is especially good.

Though I don't have any rice or corn bread to have with it, I just took a piece of bread and buttered it and tossed it into the bottom of the bowl.

I should send you my tamale pie recipe. I just had the leftovers from Saturday for lunch and it is awesome.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I should send you my tamale pie recipe.

You should!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had a power bar. Lame but quick, since I was home being on camera during my lunch break. The TV taping went okay, I think. I know I won't like hearing or seeing myself no matter what I do, so that makes me less self-conscious on camera in some odd way. Everyone from the show is wonderfully nice and used to dealing with nervous folks like us. AND, they revealed that they think that they are on the edge of signing a sponsorship deal with a company which rhymes with Fome Fepot, and that would mean we get an extra $5k of donated material!

Foam Fee-pot!

That's where I get all my polyfoam money buckets.

I love Fome Fepot and will now adopt its use.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am so excited about your show, Scrappy! And yay for Fome Fepot. I actually need to go to Fome Fepot today but the SO has bogarted the vehicle. I need to replace a light bulb in the future roomie's room, and I want to look at replacing the hardware on my baby dresser which is what he'll be using.

So instead, I am looking at vehicles. This is what comes of doing my company budget and realizing that we have $3000 left in the auto maintenance category that we should spend before July, and that you can buy cars for that amount. But instead of looking at $3000 cars, I'm looking at a $17,000 hybrid SUV. Which would so be what we need, but yeah, $14,000 I don't have.
