We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Skipped 1600 posts.

Is it here Nora was talking about moving to NO? If so, Nora, feel free to ping my cousins. Kara basically did just what you're thinking about, though we have family and friends there. I'm sure it would take you no time and Kara would be happy to invite you to stuff and make intros. smonster can attest to their awesomeness.

Indeedly awesome. I am mulling a move, too, as I do whenever I visit. I'm pondering neighborhood. Right now Holy Cross and Bywater are top contenders. Nora, on your next trip you must go to Bacchanal in the latter neighborhood. Downhome neighborhood wine bar with courtyard, awesome food, and (of course) great live music.

I'm finding it just a little bit disconcerting that the lead from BBC's The 39 Steps was also Captain Wentworth. Although I love the wink at Hitchcock with the biplane.

I've got DailyKos open to keep an eye on the vote count in the House. Sucks that they have to go through this all over again in the Senate next week before finally getting it off to the White House.

I'm just a bill
A bill here on Capitol Hill

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It passed 219 to 212. It's only the reconciliation package that will need to be voted on by the Senate.

You're 19, sweet cheeks. You don't know shit about insurance yet. For you, dealing with insurance is about as realistic as Snakes on a Plane.

When Stupak was actually supporting health care reform by arguing against the Repubs measure to recommit (thus sending it back to committee), some Repub congresscritter shouted at him, "Baby killer!" Seriously? Stupak??? I think my eyes just rolled out of their sockets.
