I have ERIC with full-text. Send me cites, and I would never do anything like email you pdfs that would violate the terms of my institution's licensing agreement.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Tonight we have tickets to see the Terra Cotta warriors exhibit.

I so want to see those.

the 30th works! I shall put you in my calendar. And scout out a place to go...

Woohoo! It's a date. :)

I'm finishing watching Flashforward from last week, and then I think I'll catch up on some Good Wife, on y'all's recommendation.

Got out early to hit the stores, finally got a zester. Came back and lazed on the porch for a bit, talking to neighbors. Made plans for later in the week. Took a walk around the lake, went for a swim. I'm now being lazy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I love your day, sarameg! I need a zester too.

Today is scramble around and get shit done day (as evidenced by me futzing around on the internet) because we played Saturday night and then at a different church this morning, with a set list about half of which I'd never heard before. Exciting. So anyway, between that and getting scary health news about D's mom, we have gotten very little rest over the past couple of days. So today, must bust ass.

I've gotta get the future roomie/intern's room ready for him, but I can't because the SO is sleeping in there. I planned to watch yesterday's Blackhawks game and work on that room (currently the media room where the tv is, handy; I intend to move the tv out of there but not until after I finish cleaning it!) and do laundry. So I cleared all the laundry out of the bedroom where I expected the SO to be napping. But he is not!

Also I'm hungry. What should I have for lunch?

I've got to keep in the habit of not sleeping in. I don't ever really need it, I just hate waking up so much for about 30 minutes after I'm up, so it is easy to go back to bed.

Spinach from the market is SO GOOD. Made a straight up spinach and tomato salad with a light italian dressing and NOM.

Oh, and I literally clobbered 4 kids in the pool today. I really don't get how they can't see this human barreling towards them and, I dunno, get out of the way? I can't see them. Really whacked the shit out of one kid, almost felt bad.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I have accomplished nothing today. Well, I napped, and I watched "Who Is Clark Rockefeller?" I'm not sure that really counts.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I touched up paint on the ceiling of the entry way, scraped paint off the kitchen windows, changed lightbulbs in 3 rooms and replaced the lightshade that had been off since the painting was done. Now laundry, getting some more summer clothes out of storage and hopefully moving some more items down to storage if I can re-arrange the shelves.
