Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I though I heard my cat throwing up/hacking up a hairball last night while I was asleep. This morning I cannot find it! I wonder if I was dreaming.

I hate that!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I have never had pot de creme.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat? We have an amazing salted caramel pot de creme at work - you should come and try it.

Poor Suzi. Do you have arnica gel? That often helps.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I haven't had coffee in a week because of this cold/flu/plague. Some of the tea I've had has probably been caffinated but most of it has been green tea.

Most of my symptoms have resolved but my nose just won't stop running and now my nostrils are raw, oozing and crusty. I think I preferred the wracking cough. Will this never end?

What is pot de creme?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aurelia, I think we have the same thing. I actually skipped strike-- I just had my students shove everything in the costume shop because I don't actually trust them not to launder something that is dry clean only. They have really poor judgement about that. Today (day 5) I seem to be starting to resemble human, but the runny nose is worse, and the hacking cough isn't all the way gone.

aurelia, pot de creme is a custard that is made in-pot - kind of like a creme brulee, but without the fire element.

This is day 13 for me. I wasn't getting any rest that first week though.

Thanks, Juliana.

I can't believe these people I used to work with got an article in the Times. [link] Beth must know someone who works there, because I'm sorry, that's not a story.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

This is my experience with NYT "lifestyle" trend type stories. They are incredibly lame and always read like "hey, I have a friend who does (x) therefore (x) is an exciting story for people my age, who are me."

(EDIT: See also: the "trend" of ladies eating red meat on dates! SHOCKING. But will make the menfolk respect you more!)

I do not have the utmost respect for the Paper of Record, I am afraid. (not that the Globe is any better.)
