MY realtor in TX told us, offer to closing is usually a month. My realtor in NY says that here it is more like 3 mos.
So fast on one side of the equation and slow on the other. But, I just got the move and storage estimate, so that is another step toward selling. No mention of a date we could get things into storage though.
My experience is more like 3-6, but that's all involving NYC coops. (Buying my own, overseeing the sale of a unit where we had evicted the previous tennant, and refinancing the entier building.) I'm guessing there are fewer lawyers involved in the sale of a TX home and things move a bit faster.

In MO it was under a month both times. I'll bet TX is more like that than NY.
Yay msbelle.
I am too sick to be writting this email to the student.
This is what I have so far:
SUBJECT: What is your status at the School of Nursing (this is what my boss wanted it to say)
Dear
Since we haven't seen you in three weeks, we are wondering if you are still working here. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Sophia
Sophia that sounds fine, but I would include a deadline to contact you. I would be finding it very hard not to write things like: "To be honest, we are a little surprised that you have not called ont he days you have missed." or "It is customary to request days off if you will be unable to make it in."
Since you have been absent from your job for three weeks without any notice, we are wondering if you have resigned your position.
Am I leading the witness?
"Do you have any intention of returning to this job? If we do not hear from you in the next day, we will assume that you have quit and will re-fill the position."
