Steph - just wanted to know if you liked it. Have you found it to be worth the $$?
For the most part, yes. It kind of depends on how much you think you'll use it. It's kind of like a subscription to Consumer Reports -- if you think having access to that kind of information is worth paying for, then Angie's List is really comprehensive and detailed. I'm impressed with how comprehensive it is.
I'm leaving my shotgun at home, though.
This is reassuring.
IOmeN, I'm planning a housewarming. I need people to tell me if they want to come, so I can put them on the invite. Localistas, if I have your email, you're getting one. It's going to be April 17th and I'm going to be making lotsa food. I'm already starting to feel both party anxiety and party excitement. It's been AGES since I've had a party and I'm so excited!
I'm having a Monday. My allergies are out of whack and I'm having bad reactions to scents. I'm itchy and sneezy (and sleepy and grumpy, but not happy or bashful), my guts are intolerant of
something
I ate. Someone very nearly hit me with a Range Rover as he was exiting the wrong way from a parking garage.
And on actual Monday, our department meeting agenda basically consists of our department yelling at my team.
I'm sort of annoyed. I drove 1.5 hours through very slippery, icy snow this morning to get to work. New Guy (who started when I did, but I was hired first) called in to say he couldn't come in due to the roads. He lives half as far as I do. Wimp.
I'm in, Barb! Sounds like fun! :)

Already on the list, my dearest. As are Jilli & the Adorable One, Plei & fam, and Bev. (I'm not forgetting any other localistas, am I?)
Stephanie - I stayed home today and I work maybe 5 miles from home, no freeway. I'm a wuss.
I'm glad that there is Fug Madness to distract me today.
I'm doing the old-school recluse author thing this weekend and checking into a cheap hotel. With a bottle of wine and everything.
Be careful that your writing doesn't turn into hard-boiled crime fiction. The hotel wasn't the kind of place that puts a mint on your pillow, it was the kind of place where you paid by the hour and nobody asks your name. I swigged a drink from my bottle of booze that had more in common with lighter fluid than a smooth whiskey, but I didn't have time to be a damn connoisseur, I had a draft to finish.
